Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy First Valentine’s Day to Reagan & Jason!!

The twins will be 10 weeks old tomorrow.

They are getting so big and learning new things all the time. Yesterday Rea followed a toy until it was out of her sight! And she is starting to ‘talk’ up a storm. Whatever is in her line of vision, she’ll have a conversation with it. Right now she seems particularly stuck on the ‘A’ and ‘O’ sounds.
Jason will talk, but not as much as Rea. And he seems to be a bit more particular on who and what he’ll talk to. Silly boy.

They are still sleeping in their swings for the most part, but that’s about to change. They will start sleeping in the co-sleeper at night and maybe napping in the swings. I’m reading a book now about developing healthy sleep habits so hopefully that will help us.

Other than that, there’s not much going on in our world. Hopefully they’ll get their first professional pictures sometime next week. That should be fun! I’m still looking for coordinating outfits though! I thought blue jean overalls were very popular among the infant group, but I can’t find them for 0-3 months! I found the cutest blue jean dress for Rea and I wanted to coordinate Jay in some overalls, but the search continues…

2 Months Already!

Well, I need to get better about updating things around here!

Jason and Reagan had their 2 month check-up and are doing great.
Rea is 9lbs and 22 inches.
J is 8lbs5oz and 22 inches.

They are slowly starting to go longer at night now. (With some help from Mom and Dad...) We're now stretching their night feedings to 4 hours. It's nice to get a little more sleep!

They are both starting to stay awake for longer periods during the day and it seems like they are noticing more things around them.

They love their activity mat and both do pretty well with tummy time. And both can hold their heads up pretty well. Not for long, but they are getting stronger.

And they are smiling now! I love it! Rea seems to smile a little more, but she is the less intense baby.

John and I can't go out without getting many twin comments. We don't mind, but it's funny how much attention two babies get. (John says twins would be great for the single man. Women flock to him when he has them.)

I'll post pictures very soon...
